I haven't really logged on here in a long time, nor can you really expect me to be logging on much into the future.

Since I last logged in:

I broke up with my old boyfriend

and got a new one (who really suits me much much better <3...)

I promptly moved about an hour north of Syyney

I got a wonderful full time job (Real Estate again)which meant giving up the films and theatre (which doesn't bother me because my boyfriend does it for a living and I don't feel like I'm missing out)

So I don't really have a lot of time to sketch anymore. The extent of my designing these days is using Adobe Indesign to make newspaper ads and property brochures. Sweeet.

Back into it. Finally.

I'm working on a film at the moment [This is a Rebel Film], and today I've been asked to help with two more productions, one has a sort of, highly stylised Victorian theme, another...well...I don't have any information about the other one yet other than it's part of some big street fair?

Awesome stuff.

Regardless what effect this may have on my upcoming uni exams...expect a lot of Victorian themed sketches (in addition to more male prostitute sketches) over the next few weeks.

Also expect some paltry attempt at Art Nouveau, as I attempt to take on my flatmate's challenge to design what is to (depending how terrible it is) be used for a poster for his band. (Folks of Sydney and Greater NSW be sure to come their last-until-they-finish-recording-new-material gig on the 6th of June...www.myspace.com/superflorencejam)

Another note to those of Sydney and Greater NSW- Do you know anybody getting married? My collection of 30s-70s wedding and bridesmaids dresses is 'burgeoning' (Kirsten loves that word.)

And finally, in this 'life update that nobody will care to read': I've been getting into seeing a lot more live music lately. So, because I chose to force my tastes onto you (and because I'm avoiding going back to my essay), I think you should visit these MYSPACES

/atlasweights [My pick is 'The Escape Artist', 'Citadel' or 'Juju Fever']

/captainkickarseandtheawesomes [Listen to 'Nothing more Important' They are one of the best live bands to see. On par possibly with my flatmate's band sFj :P ]

/alamodegroup [Ok, so my boyfriend's new band, yes, shamelessly promoting]

/otherthe [They're brand new and have only played one gig, but I'd really recommend 'West in my head, East in my Soul' Their singer has a dreamy voice]

/thisislightsout [I love the song 'Taxi'...I love all their songs infact, I love a bit of post punk. Again, shamelessly promoting a friend's band]

/thefreewheelindetours [Really just heard about this band on Sunday- they're letting us use their song JKL (The one in the video) in 'This is a Rebel Film'. I also really like their song 'Between the Buttons, Beyond the Sea' gorgeous songs- they look so flipping indie.]

You should also visit the myspace of my flatmate's band...they've already been mentioned....
